The Strait of Embol separates Ambrinqua from Corundy and is considered part of the Pallathantic Sea and the Memnosian Sea. The Strait of Embol enjoys a warm, Mediterranean climate. Magdeologers believe the bottom of the Strait of Embol lay above sea level before the Great Flood.
The Strait of Embol is one of the most heavily trafficked seaways in the world. It enables access between the Pallathantic Sea and the Memnosian Sea. The Strait lies parallel to another channel, the Sea of Flooded Thrones which includes the channel between Desthor Island and Corundy which leads into the Strait of Embol. Much sea traffic from the eastern Pallathantic Sea enters the Memnosian Sea by way of the Sea of Flooded Thrones.
