Lucacian is the modern language of Throvy and is part of the Ancient Low Gwenyan branch of the Gwenyan Languages. The name 'Lucacian ' comes from 'Lucacia' which is the ancient name for the region. The Exonyms include Jecubian, from Jakubya (Jathya-Dhumi) and Throvian, from the Thracian name, Throvy. Lucacian is related to Rhovanish, Rhovundian, Tassan, and Ferruvicarese. Lucacian may be divided into four parts, Vulgar Midretassene (350 to 900 AI), Old Lucacian (900 to 1550), Middle Lucacian (1550 to 2100), Modern Lucacian (2100 to 2600). Lucacian is the language of the heartland of the Aurician Empire and thus an important political language of the east Pallathantic Region.
