Zerruka
Zerruka Thracian Language. The zerruka is a blend of traditional skycraft technology and titancraft technology by fitting titancraft engines, often second-hand, to a metal-framed skycraft. The Zerruka was adapted from the Kharru-Visha, a metal-framed craft that relied solely upon fleeglesilk sails for lift and thrust. It is the Asdaran vessel which most closely resembles an airplane of Earth. The first zerrukas were created in the 2590's in Lucacia and Gantvia. The craft uses loftsails, that is, sails designed for lift. All or nearly all thrust is provided by titancraft rotary engines. The metal frame is stronger and lighter than cembar wood. While it does not provide any lift, it is rugged and easier to service and replace than cembar wood.
