The province is so named after the goddess Magdaia whose sacred temple once stood in the province. The capital city is Aurician Sambarrat, but the largest city is Tungora, the historic capital of the region. Magdaian Sambarrat borders the province of Eloarian March and the Throvian province of Alascundy. The province is an important location for the Grand Army of Aurice and the trade with the interior of Asdauria. The islands of Adranzo and Jumbidia are part of the province.
