The following are the thirteen throe wastes[1] of western Eloaria. This list does not include the Blackfire Hills or small, localized anomalies that may have been precipitated by the Anarch Wars. There are also several devastated cities[2] that lay in ruins within the witchlands.
List of the Throe Wastes
- Airdred's Waste, named after Airdred the Wily
- Cadavers' Waste, said for the likeness of dead bodies seen piled up in its outskirts
- Durstnot Waste
- Eorniath Waste
- Great Mage Dearth, largest of the great throe wastes
- Lilioch's Waste
- Riverby Waste, formerly called the Waste of the Verminous Plagues
- Shepherds Waste, site of Lost city of Camptephir
- Ululating Waste, so called for ululations that are said to be heard on its outskirts
- Ulcanosto Waste, named after the Dark Prince where he bested the gods of Chaos
- Van Waste, created or 'devastated' in the year 2273, the lost city of Johar rests within it. It is one of the smaller wastes.
- Warriors Waste, named after the ghost warriors seen marching out of it at night
- Zamazsha Waste, so called for the former city of Zamazsha the remains of which rest therein
