The Sea of Flooded Thrones is named for the many legends that tell of sunken cities and palaces in its shallow waters. The Sea of Flooded Thrones is a channel that rests between western Corundy and the isles of Desthor and Emprodesthor. It leads into the Pallathantic Sea to the north, but is considered part of the Memnosian Sea. It is an alternative sea route from the Memnosian Sea into the Pallathantic from the Strait of Embol. The most famous of the legendary cities was Kathyasundi whose destruction in the Great Flood is recounted in the Aturyandakumi, a Kalaman epic.
