The Museum of High Antiquaries of Bryndyd is the largest museum in the city of Bryndyd and one of the largest museums in the world. It rests north of the walled city, in the vicinity of the Archcollege of Bryndyd and the Palace of the Asbardian Diet. The museum is a long, four-storied edifice with a spacious inner courtyard. It is open most days, apart from state holidays and monthly museum service days. The museum was built in 2619 to house collections from the state archives and the Archcollege of Bryndyd and completely rebuilt in 2703 to satisfy the demands of increasing artifacts and growing interest from the general public. The museum is named after the so-called high antiquaries of Asbardy who were fifteen Asbardian scholars who studied artifacts and relics of southwestern Pytharnia. Many of them were lecturers at the Archcollege of Bryndyd and other local institutions. The present-day museum had a row of statues, one for each antiquary, to commemorate them.
