The Great Fleet of Immanent Chaos or simply the Chaos Fleet was brought into being by the divine power of the Chaos Goddess Gwona and her priest-consort, Jarumbodius of Niahore. Employing strange and ancient magics, the god-mortal duo summoned basalt from the bed of the Sea of Magdaia and shaped it into twenty three enormous vessels of the dark stone. The great hulls of the unnatural craft glided with deceptive gentleness on the waters of the sea.
Jarumbodius and his divine mate, Gwona, appointed Admiral Feifel Magdegoin possibly under duress to be Admiral of the Fleet.
