Sandisi island is a large island in the northwest region of the Republic of Ithatia. It is one of four islands (Sandisi, Irdan, Trias, and Thulidnot) that surround the two relic islands of ancient Azantira. The local capital of the island is Neskor. Tarpho is second largest city on the island.
The main inhabitants of the island are Ithatian humans. According to legend, Sandisi was ruled by mythical Azantira in the eighth millennium before Salmakhamer. Sandisi was inhabited in ancient times by the Thetzisari and later the Pallathantic Tribes. In the middle of the first millennium before Salmakhamer, the Rhionaxuin, an Ithatian Tribe, settled in Sandisi.
Sandisi along with Lygdanot Island were important sources of silver in ancient times. Small amounts of silver continue to be mined from the island today. Fishing and some timbering also important industries on the island.
