The Ibrew River is the great river that flows through the land of Lucacia. Its source rests in eastern Igdiria. The Ibrew River forms the border between the Eloarian March and Turgosia, and between Lucacia and Rhovania. It is one of the five great rivers of the Aurician Empire and is celebrated in the annual Aurician Festival of the River Gods.
The divinity of the river, Eberve, has been worshiped since time immemorial in little shrines along the banks of the river and in little itinerant raft shrines, populated with impoverished priests who accept donations behalf of the god. In eastern Lucacia, the course of the river takes it across the Tasdemona Plateau, descending through the Chespergo Valley into western Lucacia. The Ibrew River is an important freight course from the island capital of Aurice into Asdauria. River traffic is dominated but not completely controlled by the guild known as the Ibrevite Boatmen.
The Ibrew River is crossed several times by dragonrail bridges, the Istajona Bridge, the Kasmatilo Bridge, the Ebosi Bridge, and the Cantira Bridge.
