Elystrio is the historic capital of Deliops and the modern capital of the Republic of Ithatia. The name of the city is derived from the name of the goddess Elystra. Elystrio is famous as the seat of the Melissa, the high priestess who receives messages at the Oracle of Elystra. The assembly of the Republic of Ithatia meets in Elystrio.
Elystrio rests on the north shore of the island of Deliops.
