The Golden Isles is a common expression for the largest islands of the Pallathantic Sea, specifically Nymentho, Erechóreb, and Erethrob. They are so-called after the Goldenling Tribes of the Moigthe that emigrated to them in the third century AS from western Pytharnia. The term arose in the late Yophenthean Empire, but did not become widely used until the Middle Ages.
