Throvian is a demonym that can mean pertaining to the land of Throvy, the inhabitants of Throvy, or the Throvian Language. The word originates from the Thracian Language. The indigenous term is in fact Jecubia (cf. Jakubya).
Most Throvians are descended from the Midringir Tribes who migrated into the region in the first millennium before Salmakhamer. They speak the Throvian Language which is related to the Tassan Language. However, there are many Throvian humans of other ethnic origins, such as Ersercese and Thracian. These people's ancestors immigrated into Throvy and are thus not ethnic Throvians.
