The term 'throe race' can mean an intelligent, humanlike race or any species of beast warped or transformed by the power of chaos magic. This is more than simply being chaos-tainted. It means that the member of the said race inherits chaos-tainted characteristics from her forebears and can transmit them to her offspring.
