A creature individually or a member of kind of creatures who is chaos-tainted. An individual may become chaos-tainted and thus be considered a throe by conversion. A type of creatures may be so imbued with chaos magic that they are said to be a Throe Race. The term 'throe' itself translates as wanderword among the Pallathantic that refers to the ecstasy of chaos which is said to consume such creatures.
