Old Hearth Mountains is the common name for a region of now extinct volcanoes which formed them tens of thousands of years ago in northeastern Orrhymby. The indigenous dwarven name is Emegul-Thaudh which is also the name of the dwarven kingdom of the land. The land rests south of Amerzcelindo and east of Umbardia. The dwarven capital is Li'akhodin.
The native dwarves are thought to have migrated to the mountains before the Flood of Aturyanda. They speak a language related to Ithradic and are part of the Qaish'aa dwarven group.
