At the convention of the Treaty of Tauhad (2576), the signatory princes settled key points of the Great Sky War and the dissolution of the New Kalikán Empire and established the terms of its defeat, including the creation of the Confederation of Thrace to replace the abolished Kalikán state, as part of the Reduction of Thrace. The Treaty of Tauhad set the creation of the Empire of Magdala and the selection of House Llyffclaw to assume the Imperial Throne with the creation of an Imperial Diet consisting of the Medibgóëse Thörewgas and the lower assembly of the earth-bound aristocrats of Pytharnia. Aurice was respected as an important foe to the Gorcorumbese Empire which did not acknowledge the defeat of Thrace and continued to rule over most of Corundy. At this time, the Grand Duchy of Aurice continued to wage the Fourth Geddamin War against the Gorcorumbese Empire.

Tauhad, the ancient dwarven capital of the Ithrads, was chosen as a non-human, and thus neutral site for the negotiation and acceptance of the Treaty.

The following are the key points of the articles of the Treaty.

Abolition of Thracian Monarchy

The treaty abolished the titles of King-Emperor, Lord of the Jaggudorns, and the institution of the monarchy from Thrace. The King of Thrace was sent into exile. The titles were specifically abolished along with the monarchy because of the possibilty of a re-established monarchy in the future.

Creation of Confederation of Thrace

The Confederation of Thrace with a self-determining government was acknowledged by the articles of the Treaty. This was a key point demanded by the independence faction of Thrace who were generally opposed to empire.

Reduction of Thrace and Terms of Defeat

Dissolution of Empire of the Jaggudorns Reduction of military forces

Acknowledgement of the Empire of Magdala

The Treaty acknowledged the creation of the Empire of Magdala and the rule of Medibglame Llyffclaw as Emperor.

Creation and Recognition of Various Principalities

Thrace, Gantvia, Jamenth, Shaddago, Vice-Royalty of Jagohr, Arch-Duchy of Asbardy, Grand Duchy of Aurice, Republic of Ithatia. The Shadevan Delta was given the right to choose independence or unification with Ithatia. Aurice exploited this uncertainty and eventually through the Annexation of the Shadevan obtain the Delta as part of her territorial expansion.

Cession of Cisalpine Agogia

Aurice persuaded the Kalikán to cede Cisalpine Agogia in exchange for less harsh terms. Originally, the allies wanted to send the warriors of the Kalikán into permanent exile and execute all the members of the imperial royal family. This behind the scenes agreement showed the actual bargaining power of Aurice both with the Thracians and the other princes of the coalition.

Dismantlement of Thracian Colonies

The treaty called for the immediate 'independence' of all Thracian colonies, however never specified 'sovereignty' or what the nature of that independence. The treaty signatories dispatched several envoys abroad to inform the colonies of their newly acquire independence. An embassy of Asbardian envoys were sent to New Pytharnia. Asbardian forces remained in New Pytharnia and the colony became the de facto territory of the Arch-Duchy of Asbardy. Disagreement between Asbardy and Aurice over what constituted New Pytharnia became the basis of the Skaligdæse War between the two new colonial powers. Aurice eventually relinquished her claims on New Pytharnia and kept rule over Skaligdæ. The Empire of Magdala and the Republic of Ithatia shared the administration of Merethaia. The Shadrimporee Archipelago became de facto independent.
