Halflings
Halflings are diminutive human race who dwell in their own communities throughout the world. They are considered humanlikes, though they can interbreed with regular humans and philosophers deem them to be otherwise fully human. Halflings are most common in Pytharnia and on the island of Achubaia where they are the dominant race. Major halfling communities are found in Bahuna, Za-Bahuna, and far Asdauria. Halflings can be found in ethnic enclaves in major cities as well, particularly Trevirs, Verdida, Amyrn, and Bryndyd.

Languages of Halflings
In the West, there are two languages unique to halflings, Mimbbuke and Achubaian. Nearly all adult halflings in Pytharnia are bilingual, speaking Mimbbuke and another language, usually a human language. Pytharnian Halflings generally do not approve of non-halflings speaking their language and prefer to speak the language of the non-halfling or a common language other than Mimbbuke.
