Verdida

Verdida is the capital of the Kingdom of Thrain that rests on the southeastern coast of Dúrandwor. Verdida with 317,000 inhabitants is the second most populous city in Dúrandwor after Paddarvi. Verdida proper does not have direct access to the sea but does so through small coastal towns along the Estrelglaive Sound which is part of the Sea of Forgetfulness in the greater Pallathantic Sea. To the south of Verdida is the Estrelglaive Peninsula which historically controlled it. Verdida is accessible by sea and by road and is served by a skyport and a dragonrail station. The Thoïse River flows to the north of the city. Inhabitants of the city are called Verdidans. The personified goddess of the city is Verdia.
