Kingdom of Thrain
The Kingdom of Thrain comprises eastern and central Dúrandwor below the Mathgefrew Mountains along the Pallathantic Sea. The greatest length of its border is shared with the Empire of Magdala. The smaller length of border is shared with Aurician Agogia. The Viceroyalty of Jagohr is very near but not contiguous with Thrain. The Kingdom of Thrain has a long coastline with the Sea of Forgetfulness in the Pallathantic Sea. The Republic of Ithatia is thus a close neighbor in the Sea of Forgetfulness to Thrain. The Kingdom of Thrain is a constitutional monarchy in the land of Dúrandwor, established in the twenty fourth century. Since 2599, Thrain has been a member of the Union of Pytharnia.
Government of the Kingdom of Thrain
The Kingdom of Thrain is a constitutional monarchy since the re-establishment of the monarchy in 2575. The king has considerable power within this structure and is the head of state, the figurehead, and appoints the Prime Minister. The legislature is a bicameral parliament with a Court of Nobles and a House of Deputies.
Cities
The capital of Thrain is Verdida. The largest cities of Thrain are Glithmacuma, Thraust, Smaye Glame, Andribeda, Mevadapin, Tailve, Flacuma, and Amahaire.
Language
Dúrandworese is the official language of Thrain. It is a Moigthe Language with many borrowings from Midretassene. The Medibgóëse language is occasionally used in government and international relations.
