The farthest extent of the Omandraline Empire of Sky

1276 to 1287, A short-lived, but fairly large domain, carved out by Omandral Sorcerer King, a Medibgösk-Jerushablan spellcaster. The dominion crumbled to local rulers after its ruler succumbed to the power of his djinn servitors. The Omandraline Empire of Sky foreshadowed the future dominions of both sky tribes and the powerful spellcasters of the Middle Ages of Chaos. The empire was contemporary to the Settlement of Gonfaloy. Omandral, born of a Medibgösk father and a Jerushablan mother, converted to the Imzaha religion and learned the arts of magic. He vowed to defeat the Geddamin and was inspired by the former dominion of the Archmagedom of the Paleologus.

Omandraline had an itinerant court, ruling from his jaibu palace that rarely remained more than a starmonth over any specific locale on the surface.

The Omandraline Empire of Sky collapsed after the Sorcerer King's djinn servitors turned on him and fled to their homeland. Local rulers assumed leadership of their polities. Rulers who had converted to Imzaha acknowledged the King (Zehlib) of Shagrela'al as their overlord.

Aurice

Omandral Sorcerer-King deposed the local ruling dynasty. He established the mage-kahnincy and created the Mage Senate to ensure his loyalty to himself. While the local rule of the Mage-Kahnin disappeared after Omandral's death, the Mage Senate endured for well over a hundred years. Despite this involvement in the internal affairs of Aurice, Omandraline's dominion never extended farther to the west than western Corundy.
