Grand Army of Aurice
The modern Army of Aurice is called the Grand Army by its historic origins during the reign of Duke Baimund Kaligger. The commander of the Grand Army was the Field Marshal.
Modern Uniform
Cobalt Blue coat reaches to knees, peaked shoulder pieces (compare doublet); winged helmets; breastplate; pole-arm; Cobalt blue buckler with silver trim; officers have high winged helmet.
History
Duke Baimund Kaligger raises the Grand Army of Aurice to fight against the Brasen Horde, Manditchite War. Duke Baimund drafted levies of soldiers throughout Throvy, forcing the princes to yield their peasants for this purpose. He also received aid from Corundy.
Historic Uniform
Rich deposits of yuncovit discovered in the mountains of Frantigoria were seized by Duke Baimund and used for the dye to produce the uniforms for his Grand Army. The dye is still used today.
