Skerrod
Skerrod is a large island to the east of Barathorn in the Pytharnian Sea. It is considered culturally part of Barathorn. Skerrod has a temperate climate to the south and a nordic climate to the north where it is riven by numerous fjords and inlets carved during the age of ice and fire. The island has never been unified under a single, local government, although it has been subject to several different empires in its history. Skerrod is politically divided into two states, the Commonwealth of Skerrod which incorporates about two thirds of the southern portion of the island and the Kingdom of Harskavia which is the northern third. The commonwealth holds its capital in Deumonstil.
