The Pytharnian Sea is an inlet of the Askonian Ocean wedged between Barathorn and Pytharnia
The Pytharnia Sea

The Pytharnian Sea rests north of the Pallathantic and Mathareusan Seas. Despite its northern location, it does not communicate directly with the Boreal Ocean and for this reason its waters are not so cold as the Bardost Sea. The Pytharnian Sea is a critical waterway between the continents of Pytharnia and Barathorn and also rests between the principal airway between the two continents. The Pytharnia Sea may be accessed by the waters of the Pallathantic Sea to the south and southeast and by the Mathareusan Sea to the southwest. The sea is otherwise completely surrounded by continents and the Midrardian landbridge to the north. The Pytharnian Sea is subject to colder storms from the north and the waters can become quite cold, but do not freeze.
