The Gilgard Strait separates Orska Island from the continent of Pytharnia in the Pytharnian Sea. To the northwest of Orska Island rests Svilmitch Strait. The Gilgard Strait is an important waterway for sea traffic from western Pytharnia to southeastern Midrardia and to the Pytharnian seaport of Tzac Aituatl.
