Axunya

Axunya rests in northeastern Sungo.

Axunya is a region in eastern Sungo with a humid, temperate climate. Axunya rests south of Jettuba, north of central Sungo, and is the core territory of the Empire of Sungo. The name comes from the Sungotine Elven Language, "Ak Su Nya." The Sungotine Elves are the principal inhabitant of the country. The region is largely plains with modest, rolling mountains to the northeast. Most of the country is part of the Hunakya River drainage basin. The capital of the Empire of Sungo, Azhya Kaïva, rests in the interior of Axunya. The second greatest city is Kalhapura which rests by the mouth of the Hunakya River on the coast of the Dwija Sea.
