Green Coast of Danona
The Green Coast of Danona is so called for its distinctive climate. It comprises the lands on the coast of the peninsular tip of Danona which receive abundant monsoonal rains in late summer, specifically Zarajove, Rhonia, and Oliblish. Despite this common monsoon, the annual rainfall varies throughout the Green Coast. Northern Zarajove and Rhonia have green winters and springs with abundant rains from the north. Oliblish is very dry most of the year with little rain in the winter, receiving most rain in late summer as part of its monsoon. The Ooshib Raaykh Mountains catch most of the monsoon clouds from the south, causing them to dump their precipitation in late summer and leaving the lands north of them rather dry as part of the Zanqir Wastes.
The Green Coast is populated and governed by humans, but has been coveted by the Jykki orcs of central Danona for centuries who claim that humans took them from their ancestors.
