The ddwmir (Medib IPA /ˈðuːmɪr/) is a unit of linear measurement in the Medibgóëse System of Measurement. It has been widely used in scholarly, scientific, and international works for the past two hundred fifty years. The ddwmir is about 655.36 meters or 2150.13 feet long and is best applicable to surface distances between cities and countries and the size of countries and asdarographic regions. The Medibgóëse system is based upon the number eight. One eighth of the ddwmir is the smaktal and eight ddwmir are equal to one karusagda.

The ddwmir vies in usage with the Dwarven Fathom which is more commonly used for the elevation and depth of asdarographic.
