Midiantir is the largest and chief city of the Plateau of Midiantir. A semi-autonomous capital of the region, the ruler is half-jykk and gives homage to the Jykki Emperor of Jhaadi Zhumzhur. The half-jykks are seen as less wild and intractable than their full Jykki relations. Midiantir although in a desert, receives rains in spring and lighter rains in late summer. Rain water that washes down from the Massady Geth Mountains during these times is used to irrigate drought-resistant plants and crops.
