Cantira
Cantira is a city in the Throvian province of Goscundy which rests on the north shore of the Ibrew River and is the site of Cantira Bridge, a dragonrail crossing over the great river. The Eyfrey Forest spreads around Cantira to the north and to the south of the Ibrew River. Cantira is an important center for timbering and related industries like furniture-making. Cantira has access to the imperial capital, Aurice by means of river barges that pass by the Ibrew River into the Lagoon of Aurice and thence to the isled city. Dragonrail also connects Cantira to the city, passing through the cities of Chaffora and Cormantissa, then over pontoon bridges on the lagoon to Ugorth Dragonrail Station. Like the rest of Goscundy, the Goscundian Dialect of Throvian is spoken in the city. Cantira has a sizable skyport.
