Colnoria
Colnoria is the historic region in the northwestern Jaggudorn Mountains and refers to the Colnorian Plateau, the mountain slopes, and the land just below the foothills as these lands were essential to traditional gontha herding. It was found populated with gakhyami and Jaffgorn Giants when the ancient Parkyons migrated there in the sixth century before Salmakhamer. After the Parkyons led a coalition of tribes to migrate in the third century before Salmakhamer to Dewyddair, other skyfaring tribes replenished the region. Today, Colnoria continues to be a place of sky tribes practicing traditional gontha herding. Colnoria neighbors Kasthavia to the south and its foothills are part of northern Great Disdrire Forest which is filled with conifers. Colnoria has cold winters with heavy snow.
Colnoria straddles several mountain chains and the two river systems, the Upper Chaosflow River and the Upper Basthavuda River. In ancient times, it was plagued by hobgoblin invasions from the Pundgadh Plateau.
