The Gonfalese Sea is a body of water between the Gonfalese Sound and the greater Pallathantic Sea and is named after the land of Gonfaloy which rests to the north in southern Pytharnia. The Gonfalese Sea is separated to the southwest by Pheden Island and to the northeast by Umbylot Island. The Gonfalese Sea can be seen as an extension of the Gonfalese Sound and leads directly into the Bastards Sea, another small sea in the Pallathantic Sea. Territorial rights to the Gonfalese Sea are shared between the Archduchy of Asbardy and the two Gonfalese States, the Principality of Gonfaloy, and Medibgóëse Gonfaloy. In the seabed of the southern portion of the Gonfalese Sea is found the Filipavine Seamount which is home to a colony of Merfolk.
