Zankiphresil
A central teaching of Imzaha, received by divine revelation through the Dagaithi Prophet, Ammudiyn the Seer of God is the belief in the Zankephresil. "Zankiphresil" means 'Seven Books of God' in Dagaithi. Imzaamis believe that the Zankiphresil exists in a perfect state in heaven and that it was revealed to Ammudiyn the Seer by the seven angels of God. A true seer can see the words of one of these books by revelation from God through the particular angel who has stewardship over the given book. It is forbidden for a seer to reveal what he sees in this manner and according to Imzaami teaching, it is impossible to convey the true meaning of the Zankiphresil in human language.
Therefore, God, being merciful, revealed to humans the Bahraz through Ammudiyn by the mouth of angels. The Bahraz also recounts key events in the life of Ammudiyn. But only five of the books are quoted directly in the Bahraz. The first and the last are not revealed as they are too holy and impossible for mortals to grasp without direct intervention of Deity.
The Zankiphresil is much depicted in Imzaami art as a retinue of seven angels in glory, each holding his particular book. A particular gemstone is associated with each book and angelic guardian.
