The Sea of the Dead Gods is a large sound in the southwestern Turtle Sea.

The Sea of the Dead Gods is a body of water in the southwestern end of the west Turtle Sea. It is so named for the memory of ancient gods whose cult centers were thought to have surrounded the body of water in antediluvian times and in the depths of which lies the strange temples of the Ithrabbi to this day. The Sea of the Dead Gods is relatively shallow and not prone to choppy waters, but, like the surrounding tropical climate, is prone to daily rainfall. The Sea of the Dead Gods is considered separately from the waters of the Sundered Sea. Nevertheless, it is essential for any seacraft approraching from the east to pass through the Sea of the Dead Gods before reaching the southeastern mouth of the Grand Canal of Banjalay. The Sea of the Dead Gods is also home to several Tekmyri tribes who are common throughout the West Turtle Sea.
