Lake Kasgo is the third largest inland body of water in Pytharnia and rests north of the Pytharnian Highlands.

Lake Kasgo is the third largest lake in Pytharnia after Lake Lisgoria and Lake Esdirreach. It rests north of the Pytharnian Highlands which corresponds more or less with the Magdalanate, forming the natural northern boundary between the Empire of Magdala and Jagohr. The lake is replenished by several rivers, including the Yoise River which flows past Trevirs. Since ancient times, Lake Kasgo has been the natural realm of the divinity, Kas whose temple remains to this day in Kasguffy along its shore. The Neptultchi ruins of Airdairg rest on hills on a peninsula jutting northwards along its southwestern shore. The lake is about 318 ddwmir (209 kilometers or 129 miles) long. The relationship between the waters of the lake and Airdairg is uncertain but has been the subject of debate for millennia. The largest city in population along its coast is Caffgara.

Trade

The southern extent of the lake is used for transporting goods and wares from central Magdala to Caffgara where it is carried by barges on the Achentilly Canal to Valtrave at the north end of Lake Fidogwain where it is transported by barge to the source of the Nystasy River and then down the river to the Shadevan Delta. Goods and food from Thrace are shipped in the reverse direction to the great city of Trevirs.
