Caffgara is a major, chartered city of the Magdalanate on the southeast end of Lake Kasgo, on the international border of the Empire of Magdala and Jagohr. Caffgara is the seat of the residence of the Count of Thlithneen. The population of Caffgara at present times (ca 2735) is about 465,000 persons. Although the residence of the Count is in the city of Caffgara, the city is itself a chartered city and independent from the County of Thlithneen.
In Caffgara, the principle language is Pytharnian with significant amounts of speakers of Jagohrish, Medibgóëse, and Dúrandworese. Occasionally, Mimbbuke, Ithradic, Tuadbean, and other ethnic minority languages are spoken.
