The scientific pursuit of archeology blossomed with full strength in the mid twenty seventh century. The term 'science' on Asdar is not equivalent to the Earth word, but western archeology does involve the use of methodology, strata, and other components that Earth archeologists would recognize. The term 'archeologer' reflects that lack of true equivalency. The date shown is of the discovery or acquisition.
