The Sea of Magdaia is a great bay in the easternmost end of the Pallathantic Sea that divides Erserce in the north from Lucacia to the south. The sea is so named after the great nature mother goddess in her capacity as goddess of the sea. Its waters are plied heavily by the Aurician Navy and abundant commercial sea craft. To the west of the Sea of Magdaia rest the three islands of Thykomia. Larger islands of the Sea of Magdaia include Pallathas Island, Chama Island, Ippiskinos Island, Laodakas Island, Omokha Island, Gephané Island, Ktogos Island, Adranzo Island, and Jumbidia Island. The Tayhoyre River empties into the Sea of Magdaia. In ancient times, the Sea of Magdaia was peopled with tritons, human fishermen, and pirates. It was the region where the early Pallathantic Tribes and later Ithatian Tribes migrated into the Pallathantic Sea.
