Amzhebarion

An Amzhebarion is a person, usually male, of immediate or lineal descent from the god Amzhebar (also known as Amyz). Consequently, he is possessed of the taint-of-chaos and a throe. An Amzhebarion differs from an Amzhebarite who is merely a devotee or propitiator of the chaos god. An Amzhebarion with a short descendancy from the god Amzhebar is also a demi-mortal. Amzhebarions were also known as the Marked of Amzhebar, though today few would mark themselves and thus reveal their special relationship with a god of chaos.

Today, persons who understand they are descended from the god Amzhebar (or Amyz) or in fact from any chaos god generally do not reveal this quality for various reasons, including legal repercussions and social stigma.

In ancient times, an Amzhebarion or "Marked of Amzhebar" often had a blue glyph on his forehead to show his relationship and devotion to the god, Amzhebar. Midjourney 2023.
