Perched on the precipice of the north cliffs of the Great Valley of Lord Vimal, Cetibrymio is a charming small city with scenic vistas and plenty of history stretching back into the times of ancient Kalama when it was called Kathyabrumya. Cetibrymio is a melting pot of Kalaman, Ithatian, and Midretassene heritage. During the past five centuries, the native Jaithan people have re-established their cultural eminence and the city is proudly part of the Republic of Johaulia. Cetibrymio is second in official pre-eminence to the city of Johaulia. This article discusses the city of Cetibrymio, not the Johaulian Municipality of Cetibrymio.

Ancient Cetibrymio (Kathyabrumya) came to prominence around 5,000 AS during the City-State Period of Kalama and was an important strategic point for the defense of the valley and observation of the bay. The city subsequently became the capital of the Gahashpujani Kingdom, 4317 AS to 3733 AS, a period of nearly six centuries. Cetibrymio was important in ancient times as the seat of the Oracle of Palithreeta, the Goddess of Starmoon, known to the ancient Kalamans as Kaina.
