Kiallion
The Kiallon Tribe, sometimes called the Kiallions, were attested in early legends of the Colnorian and the subsequent Parkyon tribes. The name 'Kiallion' is thought to derive from the ancient name of the sky god Kiall who was their patron divinity. The Kiallion Tribe arose from the North Jaggudornish Tribes of the Gwenyans in the first millennium before Salmakhamer before the Invention of Skycraft. According to legend, the king or chief of the kiallions was pre-eminent among the tribes of the western High Shadevan Plateau until it was wrested from them by the Kalikán Tribe who worshiped the god Tuvar. In the sixth century AS, the Kiallions rather than suffer the ignominy of giving homage to their rivals, led themselves and their allies subsequently by migration on skycraft out of the High Shadevan Plateau on a dangerous voyage over the Jaggudorns westwards and settled on the western slopes in the region now known as Colnoria. This separation is known as the Ancestral Rift of Sky.
After settling in Colnoria for only about two centuries, the sky tribes wearied of the dangers of the land which included giants, goblins, and other creatures. Perhaps around the beginning of the third century AS, most of these tribes, now under the leadership of the Mipnors, a clan which claimed descent from the god Kiall and of which was the kingship, emigrated to the west skycraft in numerous successive jaunts over the thick woodlands of Pytharnia, over the Pytharnian Sea and into Barathorn, until they settled in the land which today is known as Dewyddair. By this time, they were no longer called the Kiallions, but the Parkyons.
