List of the Kings of Dagdoria
First Kingdom
2332 AS to 1562 AS, ca 770
- The Dagdorian First Kingdom is contemporary to the Proto-Moigthe migration into the Pytharnian Highlands and the Great High Shadevan Civilization (ca 2400 AS to 1700 AS). There are only two dynasties in the First Kingdom, the Zhamashphut and the Khadadu. The Khadadu are kinsmen through dwarven priestly hierarchy by several relations to the Zhamashphut. This consanguinity as well as common cultural practices are the basis for dwarven scholars' traditional grouping of these dynasties into the First Kingdom of Dagdoria.

Some dwarven scholars group the third and fourth kingdoms today, resulting in only seven kingdoms. The two kingdoms are often treated together. The third kingdom consists of only one dynasty, the Khewiat, with only two rulers. These rulers introduced new gods and were the subject of much controversy for another thousand years in Dagdoria.

Conflicts arise when the Sky Tribes allow their gontha to graze on the surface of Dagdoria when dwarves slay the beasts for meat. The Sky Tribes in turn can do little to take vengeance when the dwarves flee to the depths. The nucleus of the custom and rights of passage (later called taspizaisha) begin to develop during this time.

Before this Kingdom would come to completion, the Yophenthean Empire would have already collapsed. Dwarves are fond of reminding humans that the Yophenthean Empire lasted fewer years than a dwarven kingdom and that Dagdoria has eight kingdoms.
