Onogaster
A hulking titancraft vessel used for transportation of cargo, the first true onogasters were constructed in the 2660's in Aurice by their inventor, Metropolitan Skycrafters, an Aurician corpus merx. An Onogaster skycraft relies on ziffler foils and volitunda titancraft for lift, without which its poorly aerodynamic shape could not rise off of the earth.
Onogaster cargo ships are frequently seen in the Pallathantic Region and en route to and from Zephasia and the Ojo Empire, less frequently in Barathorn and northern Orrhymby, and rather infrequently throughout the rest of the world.
Light Onogasters, sometimes called wyvernian onogasters, rely on meteorisis chamber and ziffler foils for lift. Newer versions rely solely on Argikeraunic Ziffler Foil technology.
Heavy Onogasters are called draconian onogasters or just simply 'draconians.' These craft use coelodermic volitundum technology and are capable of a much greater lift and cargo capacity. They use Argikeraunic Ziffler Foil technology for added lift and directional movement.
Early onogasters were first used in Lucacia and Corundy and spread quickly to the Jaggudorns, especially to Sardeichs and Thrace where their ability to carry freight in the air over impassable terrain was of immense use to merchants, the military, and passengers.
