Pandancer
One who practices the art of magical levitation, often for the purpose of worshiping chaos or its divinities, a pandancer makes contact with the energy of the panstream to weave spells and ride the currents in an ecstatic trance. The pandance is unlawful in most countries subscribing to the principles of Accord of the Princes of Law, but the ban is enforced to differing degrees throughout the Pallathantic nations and the Khamifate of Shanjahar.
The origins of the pandance reach back before known antiquity and most scholars aver that the natural susceptibility of living creatures to the panstream means that the pandance has been around as long as intelligent beings have perceived the same.
Not all pandancers desire to make a union with ecstatic powers of chaos, but the long-time tradition of chaos has brought an aspersion upon the practice which it cannot shake off. Its continuing proscription in Pallathantic countries forces adherents to work their art in hiding in the wee hours of night or the depths of the earth far from the eyes of the law, except for brief periods of excess in some realms during the annual days of Chaos.
True pandancing is a rare experience and many cultists who claim the power of pandancing have not proven it to neutral witnesses.

- mongadic (wild dancing, from Gk mongas)
- nibatismic (Phrygian dance)
- prylis, prylic (armed dance, dance in armor)
- thermastric (fast, leg-crossing dance like tongs or pliers)
