A skybarn is a hangar for holding skycraft when not in use, for maintaining and working on them, and for their construction. Modern skybarns are comparable to ancient claddans or mountain caves of the Jaggudorns where ancient sky tribes sometimes kept their skycraft. Modern skybarns are often made of masonry walls with very large roof beams to accommodate a great breadth necessary to cover today's titanships.
The very largest skybarns are made with metal beams and rafters and have glass viewing panels in their roofs. They are used to contain the very largest skycraft, especially titanships.
