Skybistro
A skybistro is a small, moderately priced eating establishment on an aerobarge platform. They serve simple food to commoners and budget travelers in large cities, such as Aurice. They are often used for breakfast or lunch during peak transit hours of the day. In Aurice, they serve commuters from the outer islands to the core islands of the city and from one side of the city to the other. Some skybistro proprietors charge a nominal fee that is reduced or eliminated if the client purchases a sufficient amount of food on the trip. Some skybistros serve boxed meals or meals that can fit in boxes brought by the client. Some skybistros also provide catering services.
Skybistros are usually of two levels of quality: those which serve the working poor who sometimes may not have a kitchen at home and those which cater to the wealthy, offering multiple courses and dining catering for special events. The interior of the aerobarge and the quality of service vary accordingly. These luxury restaurants of the sky move quite slowly if at all to avoid upsetting the dining experience and are authorized to glide at a somewhat higher altitude (up to 100 feet) to avoid the odors and sounds of the city while offering spectacular views, especially at night.
