The Throne of Magdala has chartered numerous cities. These imperial cities, so-called for their imperial charters, are independent of the jurisdiction and rule of the surrounding noble. Each imperial city may send a delegate to the Imperial Diet of Magdala.

The cities are of humans, halflings, Uryala Gnomes, elves, and giants, dwarves, lizardfolk.

The city of Trevirs holds a special relationship. It is not fully independent, but combines appointed leaders and locally elected representatives. Its delegate is chosen by its governor with the confirmation of the local representatives.
