Instituted by the Aurician Senate in 2694 to coincide with the completion of the Five Locks Project in the Shadmaus, the Festival of the River Gods is a mildly religious festival that emphasizes the imperial might of Aurice by celebrating the five major River Gods whose waters flow through Aurician dominions: Shadew, Ibrew, Thebed (Thybdis River), Tayhoyre, and Baliphut. The festival is held 23 Magdymoon throughout the Aurician Empire in the Pallathantic.
