Lizardfolk
The lizardfolk are a race of reptilian humanlikes who once dominated the Marshes of Baihu. Today they are subjects of the Empire of Magdala. They exercise some autonomy in the imperial chartered cities of K'sangt'o, Sogek, and Tasek. Lizardmen are 2.18m (7'2") tall on average. Distant Relatives of the Lizardfolk are thought to inhabit the Two Bahunas and perhaps central Asdauria, though reports of such are disputed. The lizardfolk speak their own native language. Scholars have attempted to show a relationship to Draconic, without any sizable consensus.
The Lizardfolk of the Marshes of Baihu worship their own gods and and speak their own language which is thought to be related to dragonspeech. The high priest of the lizardfolk is a vassal of the Emperor of Magdala and he holds court in the temple of his gods in K'sangt'o.
A Hsa’ijsz is a lizardfolk settlement.
