Archpatriarchy of Numiria
The Archpatriarchy of Numiria is a self-governing state in the cultural core of western Corundy. The capital city, Numire, is an important sea port that rests on the coast of the Sea of Flooded Thrones. Numiria shares borders with Duchy of Barraine, Republic of Strubia, Duchy of Zavie, Free Republic of Rhiony, the Archpatriarchy of Tiomairy, and the Archpatriarchy of Airdemainy. It rests on the western side of the Sea of Flooded Thrones from the Duchy of Desthor. Lake Onoxa is within the archpatriarchy and the western shore of Lake Shallynaffe. The historic Arathracian Sanctuary of Yoradha rests south of the city Numire. Yoradha was once the seat of the Gorcorumbese Governor of the satrap Kurundiya.
The Arch-Patriarch of Numiria is a high Arathracian clergyman chosen by the Arathracian Senate of Numiria and approved by the Erechórebese Sunfather. The State is named after the capital city, Numire, which is the arch-patriarchal seat. Numiria is a member of the League of Corundy and part of the Commonwealth of Arathracian States. The present ruler is Odrig Eriphirve who is also one of the founding fathers of the League of Corundy.
The official language of the archpatriarchy is Corundian. Most humans of the archpatriarchy are members of the Erechórebese Arathracian Church. A large minority of the human populace are Jaithan and dwell in towns and settlements along the west shore of Lake Shallynaffe. They speak the Jaithan Language and worship the Kalaman gods. A small minority of Ithatian-descended people live in northern Numiria. They speak peninsular Ithatian at home and in their small shops with neighbors, but Corundian in other settings. They are mostly Arathracian. Incarnandists are a significant minority group. Mother of God Sarredinite Monastery by Lake Onoxa is an important Incarnandist Monastery in the archpatriarchy.
